Honoring the One Light in All Traditions
This concentration recognizes and honors the Divine Light as brought through all the major religions and spiritual traditions of the world, and their prophets, knowing that God's Message and Truth has come in different forms for different people. Using ceremony and service, meditation, music, song, chants, poetry, and contemplation upon enlightened scripture, we celebrate the Unity of the Divine Message given to humanity.
The Universal Worship embodies the Sufi Message of Hazrat Inayat Khan, which teaches that all religions are rays from the same Sun of Truth. On the Universal Worship altar, candles are lit and scriptures are read from the major sacred traditions:
Hinduism
The Divine Light of Wisdom, realization of Brahman, and the sacred sacred teachings of the Vedic and Upanishadic rishis.
Buddhism
The Divine Light of Compassion, mindfulness, ethical living, and liberation through the Dharma.
Zoroastrianism
The Divine Light of Purity, Ahura Mazda, and righteousness in thought, word, and deed.
Judaism
The Divine Light of the Covenant, the Holy One, and righteous relationship with God and community.
Christianity
The Divine Light of Love, grace, forgiveness, and the spiritual teachings of Christ.
Islam
The Divine Light of Unity (Tawhid), peace, complete surrender to Allah, and the Prophetic wisdom.
A central candle is lit representing the Spirit of Guidance — the continuous, unbroken light of inspiration that has guided humanity across all ages and continues to illuminate the human heart today.

Cherag / Cheraga Ordination & Training
For those called to spiritual service, we offer training for Cherags (ordained ministers) of the Universal Worship. Candidates undergo training in interfaith liturgies, ceremonial facilitation, pastoral counseling, and deep comparative study of sacred scriptures.
